Goddess Maa Balimajhi : Regarded as the presiding deity (Ista-Devi) of Mangalajodi

Goddess Maa Balimajhi have been regarded as the presiding deity (Ista-Devi) in almost every house of Mangalajodi village in Odisha.This important and famous Devi Pitha is situated at a lonely side area of the village at a distance of 4 Kms from Tangi town towards Bhusandpur. The place is surrounded by natural beauty and the picturesque  scenery  of the temple area gives immesse pleasure and a thrilling experience of nature and divinity to each people and often captivates its mind and soul. A stone anthropomorphized  by the addition of gold and silver ornaments and  shaped to be seen as human face are the main Shrine of this temple which represents the Goddess Maa Balimajhi.
