The Times of India Report : Photo exhibition on Mangalajodi

With an aim to promote and popularize Mangalajodi, a small village on the northern fringes of Chilika Lake, among tourists Open Wildlife Lounge (OWL) has organized a photo exhibition at Lalit Kala Akademi here. The nine-day long photo exhibition features about 180 photographs of a huge variety of birds found in the locality and the natural beauty of Mangalajodi. According to OWL, an NGO working for wildlife conservation, over three lakh birds visit Mangalajodi every winter and stay here for four months. Research has shown that most of these waders and shorebirds that migrate to India come from north and central Siberia. Click here the link to read the detail information
